The HEC-GeoRAS downloads available from this webpage were tested, verified, and are supported by HEC. HEC-GeoRAS Version 10.2 is the last version that was tested and verified to be functional in ArcGIS 10.2.1 and is available from this webpage. HEC will no longer test and verify newer versions of HEC-GeoRAS that is compatible with versions of ArcGIS that are newer than Version 10.2.1. Newer versions of HEC-GeoRAS have been made available from the ESRI FTP site; however, these newer versions have not been tested nor will they be supported by HEC. HEC is developing the necessary GIS capabilities directly within HEC-RAS. HEC-RAS Version 5.0 contains the results mapping capabilities in HEC-GeoRAS Version 10.2, and HEC-RAS Version 5.0.4 will contain geometric preprocessing capabilities. HEC-RAS Version 5.0.4 should be available in the Spring of 2018.
This package will install HEC-GeoRAS 10.1 and all its pre-requisites automatically. Documentation is available from the programs Help menu. ArcGIS 10.1 (ArcView license) with the 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst extensions are required. Release Notes: The Animation Tool was not migrated to HEC-GeoRAS 10.1. The native ArcGIS Animation Toolbar must be used. Important note for HEC-GeoHMS 10.1 users: If you previously had HEC-GeoRAS 10.1 installed and want to use HEC-GeoHMS 10.1, you must uninstall the old version of HEC-GeoRAS 10.1 released in Feb 2013 and install the updated setup package below that supports side by side installation with HEC-GeoHMS 10.1.
At 10.1, ArcGIS for Server runs natively on 64-bit Windows and Linux operating systems, providing users with high-performance web editing and map caching, on-the-fly analyses, and imagery exploitation capabilities, as well as additional choices for deployment. In addition to being fully certified on VMware and VCE's Vblock platform, ArcGIS for Server can be deployed on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud in both Windows and Linux. ArcGIS for Server includes new services, such as a print service that allows users to produce high-quality, large-format PDF maps directly from web maps. Also new at 10.1, along with the ability to generate sophisticated GIS and mapping services with Standard and Advanced editions, all editions of ArcGIS for Server, including Basic, will provide simple mapping capabilities from a database.
Mobile developers now have access to a suite of ArcGIS Runtime Software Developer Kits (SDKs) to create custom business applications for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices. Developers are able to create apps that use the powerful mapping and geocoding capabilities found in ArcGIS for Server and ArcGIS Online. These apps can be deployed within an enterprise environment or to the public via the Apple App Store, Microsoft Marketplace, and Android Market. In addition, a free, out-of-the-box ArcGIS application lets users explore map content, collect and edit GIS features, and use sophisticated geoprocessing tasks. The ArcGIS app is available for download on all major mobile platforms.
Esri'h ArcGIS can be a geographic info program (GIS) for operating with maps and geographic information. It is definitely utilized for: producing and using maps; obtaining geographic data; analyzing mapped info; expressing and finding geographic details; using maps and geographic info in a variety of programs; and managing geographic details in a database. We anticipate that we will eventually release a version of MGET for 64-bit Python 3.x that will be compatible with ArcGIS Pro. However, the work required for this is nontrivial, and at present we do not have a source of funding to directly support it. Progress is slow and we do not have an ETA at this time. (If you know of funding that would support this, please contact us!) Now that ArcGIS Pro is the future of ArcGIS, we do not anticipate releasing MGET for 64-bit Python 2.7, meaning that MGET will likely not ever work with ArcGIS 64-bit Background Geoprocessing. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us.
